Lovely introduction to NLP and how our senses help to guide us through our worlds. Great illustrations invite the reader in and link the written word to the visual. Recommended for children and adults alike!

Monika has combined beautiful illustrations and the art of storytelling to produce a wonderful book for children and grown-ups alike.
Her book allows us to really get hold of the notion that the outside world just is and how we filter it and run things on the inside directly affects our experiences. The story teaches us that we can easily and effortlessly add more joy to life by opening up and harmonising all of our senses. Marvellous stuff to share with children.

A delightful illustrated book designed to help adults help children (and themselves) become more consciously aware of the incredible richness of our senses. In explaining in simple terms how we can restrict our own experience through limiting unconscious filters, Monika introduces one of the key concepts of NLP, that we live our lives from our own internal 'map of the world', rather than in response to what happens in the outside world. 'What are you Missing' offers children and adults alike a valuable insight into how we 'tick', and encourages a richer appreciation of everyday experience.

A beautiful book and an excellent way for children to explore the world using all of their sensory filters. My son (9) and I have read the book at least 20 times.
I think the book is brilliant. I love it for 4 reasons
- 1) The layman’s introduction to NLP is great. Even my 9-year-old understood it
- 2) The story is lovely, it’s vivid and uses all the three primary filters
- 3) Great illustrations, must have taken you ages to do them all
- 4) My favourite part was the interactive bits. My son loved that, we had a lot of fun
